About the Huttons

Bob and Marilyn both come from preachers families. Bob's parents were missionaries in Guatemala and then after his father broke his back, he pastored churches in the United States. Marilyn’s parents were missionaries to northern Minnesota until her father was called to be the associate pastor at the Massillon Baptist Temple where he remained for 29 years before retiring.

Upon graduating from college, Bob and Marilyn were married in 1979. After working in churches in Nebraska and Ohio, Bob became the pastor of the Sandy Valley Baptist Temple where they ministered for over 10 years.

As an assistant and then as a pastor Bob was able to participate in many missions trips. Several people from the groups that he led, surrendered to the mission field and are now serving around the world.

Marilyn is an accomplished singer and songwriter. Presently working on her masters in Christian counseling, God has given her the opportunity to be a blessing and encouragement to many people through her songs and speaking at ladies meetings.

Bob and Marilyn have three daughters. Trisha, married to Brad Carpenter, Tara, in college and Tiffani a soon to be sophomore at Massillon Christian School.

About Operation S.H.A.R.E.

Operation SHARE has five primary goals:

1. Spread the Gospel and start local churches.
The growth of the local church and the establishment of new churches is imperative. We will be starting a new church in Ulaan Baatar and attempt to reach the nomadic tribes as well.

2. Hope for the hopeless.
“Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God” Psalm 146.5

3. Assisting Missionaries and national pastors.
Another one of our heart’s desire is to assist the national pastor and other missionaries. Over 25% of missionaries do not return to the field after one term. Almost 40% do not return after their second term. We want to be a source of encouragement and strength.

4. Relief for the hurting.
We want to help provide basic medical care when available and provide housing for orphans as the Lord opens the door.

5. Educating national pastors, teachers and children.
In order to effectively reach the lost, we must train national pastors and teachers so that they go and tell others. We will be establishing a Bible Institute in Ulaan Baatar.
